My Being a sick teenager, I know what it feels like to have your life stripped from you. When I was severely constipated, I was in so much pain all the time that I had no energy to enjoy my life. I was so fatigued, bloated, depressed, anxious and scared that things would never change and that no one would ever be able to help me. After finding colonics and healing my gut, I can't even begin to describe the relief I felt physically and mentally. I would never allow myself to go back to that place. My health has been my main focus every since and I take my daily practices very seriously. For me, there are no "cheat days" because I am the only one who loses. I have learned to live in harmony with my body and thrive on the ability to nourish, care and love the temple I am so lucky to live in!
In the clinic I hear a lot of "I just don't have time to do this..or that...or be healthy" so as a mother of 2 (soon to be 3), a business owner and a wife, I thought I would share with you 5 things that I do every week that are a non negotiable. Time is a previous resources that we have to allocate well - these are worth every second to me.
𝟭. 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗡𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴- After learning about pesticides and all the chemicals used to grow food, organic is a priority for us. We buy in season and I get it delivered to save time and the hassle of shoping with little ones. It also eliminates all of the impulse buys at the counter! Takes 10 mins I order online from Homefresh Organic. My husband and I make 99% of our meals from scratch at home and they are gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free, and vegetarian. It's not hard to do, it's just the ingredients you pick.
𝟮. 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘀 - whether it's a water enema, coffee enema, anti inflammatory or hormone enema, I am always supporting my gut. If I haven't had a bowel movement, I will do an enema, there is no day I go without as it is so important to be eliminating!! Plus they make me feel amazing. Takes 15-20 mins.
𝟯. 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀 - my weekly colonics are a must. Even when my bowel was working 2-3x a day on Ultimate Fibre, I still truly love my weekly colonics. Hydration, cleansing the bowel and mental clarity. They truly are my favourite form of self care. Takes 1 Hour.
𝟰. 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 - If you know me, I am a sunflower and always barefoot. If I could I would spend all my time outside (apart from looking at poo videos) I practice grounding barefoot in the garden, at the beach or as often as possible. Fresh air, sun on my skin (no sunscreen plz) and deep breaths of fresh air. Walking at least a few times a week. Before I had kids I was an avid yogi, I still love it but downward dog is not as relaxing with 2 tiny humans crawling up your back.
𝟱. 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝗼𝘆 - I try to find joy in everything I do. Otherwise I wouldnt do it. I think I was born with this quality but I meet so many people who just fulfill their daily obligations and don't even know what makes them happy anymore. Whether it's a yoga class, trying a new recipe, taking my kids on an adventure, going on a date night with my husband, I try to fill my week with joy and I am 110% positive it is essential for good health.
Health is about so much more than just the quantity of what you put in. It is about the whole picture. To be healthy you must be feeding your body, nourishing your soul and making sure you are releasing everything negative, toxic and no longer serving as it comes up! I am so fortunate that my health journey lead me to fulfilling my passion of helping others and everyday I get to work towards new goals that truly excitement in a field I love. Find what aligns with you and never let go! Blessed for all of you in our Bayside Colonics Community!
